The travel agency in South East Treasures in collaboration with Fotofficina organizing a photography workshop to the discovery of the Carnival of Putignano is the most 'ancient and the most' long history, now come to the 617 edition.
A carnival of colors, music, paper mache, of floats, happiness , Groups of masked people who become actors to make this annual event with entertainment, unique and unforgettable.
It 'an opportunity to discover, for you amateur photographers, even the wonders of our land, the olive trees, the magic of
spontaneous landscapes created from water and the limestone caves of Castellana, the Trulli of Alberobello, the ancient villages of the Valle d'Itria, the jagged and rocky coastline with its beautiful countries like Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Ostuni, the city 'Bianca.
PROGRAM :
1. Date: February 25, 2011
8.30: Arrival and accommodation in a former wine estate, surrounded by olive trees
in the Valle d'Itria and vineyards. Morning on the estate, visit
ancient wine cellar and tasting of typical local products. Afternoon in
Frantoio in Terra di Bari, Puglia to the discovery of the famous oil, olives and
visit the mill, tasting of typical products. Return to the estate overnight
2. Date: February 26, 2011
Breakfast at Colonial. Transfer to Polignano a Mare, a city of Greek origin that lies on a plateau
rock overlooking the sea, marked by a deep ravine. The
old town with its intricate webs of narrow leads, among the small whitewashed houses and courtyards
lime, up to the terraces on the sea from which the view sweeps
Adriatic and the beautiful sea caves. Afternoon transfer to
Alberobello, the capital of the trulli, the center is
declared a national monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit will take between districts
Monti and Aia Piccola among the winding streets that climb up the hill.
Return to the estate overnight.

Colazione in Tenuta. Trasferimento a Putignano per assistere alle parate dei famosi carri allegorici. L’originalità, la raffinatezza e la delicatezza delle rifiniture della cartapesta della “scuola putignanese” costituiscono il fascino di questi carri e delle maschere di carattere. Pomeriggio rientro in Tenuta.
